Developing Daisy is a lesbian love story set in the present with lengthy flashbacks into the 1970’s in New York City, with all that decade’s passion, idealism, politics and drama. 

THE CREATORS:  Helen Newman wrote the music with additional music contributed by Stephen Kitsakos.  Helen and Stephanie Glickman wrote the lyrics with additional lyrics provided by Ellen Shumsky.   Stephanie wrote the book based on a concept she developed with Helen.

THE PLAN:  In order to help bring this musical to professional production, two fundraising readings were held this Spring. Thanks to all who attended and helped support us!  We raised enough money from ticket sales and tee shirts to allow us to continue developing Daisy!
